ABOUT Xeno:
Since foundation, HIBY has been taking “New Technology Application For HiFi Audio” as the motivation of product development, to let music lovers enjoy their favorite listening in different life scenarios. So, as a sub-brand of HIBY, HIBYDIGITAL continues HIBY’s spirit of innovation, and strives to provide music lovers with a richer experience in digital life. Xeno, the digital earphone, is a new attempt to reconstruct and integrate HIBY’s HD audio digital architecture with audiophile earphones.
Xeno, from Greek, means “strange, exotic”. From product configuration, digital architecture to acoustic solutions, Xeno contains many new technological attempts and breakthroughs, allowing you to explore an unprecedented sound experience in regular audio listening.
Xeno is a breakthrough in-ear monitor that utilizes a dual-speaker architecture with a hybrid of an all-silicon MEMS driver and graphene dynamic driver for a high level of full-range sound detail. Moreover, Xeno combines HIBY’s Dual DAC & Dual-amplify HD audio system, which supports native decoding of up to DSD128/PCM384kHz (32Bits) audio formats, allowing you to not only listen to online streaming HD music at any time, but also listen to locally stored HD audio files via HIBY MUSIC’s USB-exclusive mode. The native USB-c digital interface is compatible with most of smartphones/Pads/PCs on the market, enabling music details to be transmitted to the ears in their original form. Meanwhile Xeno’s design and tuning ensuring a high degree of phase consistency and extremely low latency, providing an excellent immersive experience for both gaming and audio-visual entertainment. The high sensitivity silicon microphone also can support daily incoming calls and HD recordings without signal or external interference.
One words definition:
Xeno is a breakthrough in-ear monitor that utilizes a hybrid dual-speaker architecture of all-silicon MEMS and graphene dynamic dynamics to ensure high phase coherence and extremely low latency, with a high level of sound detail across the entire frequency range. Meanwhile, Xeno combines HIBY’s Dual DAC & Dual-amplify HD digital audio system, which supports native decoding of up to DSD128/PCM384kHz (32Bits) audio formats, allowing you to not only listen to high-definition online music at any time, but also listen to locally stored high-definition audio files through HIBY MUSIC’s USB-exclusive mode. The native USB-c digital interface is compatible with most smart devices on the market, enabling music details to be transmitted to the ears in their original flavor, providing an excellent immersive experience for both gaming and video entertainment. The high sensitivity silicon microphone can support daily incoming calls and HD recordings without signal or external interference.
Full-link digital audio playback architecture
HiBy has been deeply engaged in the application of HD audio technology. In terms of audio architecture, key algorithms, FPGA circuits, analog circuits, etc., HiBy has complete vertical design capabilities and independent intellectual property rights. Therefore, in the new digital earphones, Xeno, we can find a full-link of high-resolution digital audio playback architectures that is from high-definition digital audio source, independent master control, HD decoding, to hybird driving of MEMS speakers and graphene drivers.
Equipped with cutting-edge solid-state MEMS speaker
The revolutionary all-silicon, solid-state MEMS driver from xMEMS, the Cowell, is 150 times faster than traditional speakers in terms of fast response time and minimizes phase shift to deliver a high degree of phase uniformity, uniquely capable of delivering high-resolution musical detail.
Specialized graphene full-range dynamic driver
As one of the thinnest and toughest nanomaterials, graphene has a very high strength, which can greatly reduce the split vibration that tends to occur in traditional diaphragm materials, and ultimately make the driver have better resolution. The 10mm dynamic speaker specially made for Xeno is equipped with a new generation of graphene film, which is 1000 times lighter than paper and 200 times stronger than steel. So, the diaphragm is light and rigid enough to provide solid and full sound performance.
New hybrid cavity created by high-precision 3D printing and low stationary wave metal chamber
As the MEMS tweeter adopts a new principle of sound generating, its acoustic cavity adaptation design is different from the common drivers, so we use high-precision 3D printing to build the Xeno’s hybrid speaker bracket. We created separate acoustic rear chambers for each of the two drivers in a small space. And the lightweight and sturdy one-piece aluminum alloy reduces stationary waves in the acoustic cavity, bringing a clearer sound performance.
Master control and dual-amp hybrid driving architecture by HiBy
From HiBy‘s DAC desig, we developed exclusive data processing flow and algorithms for Xeno’s hybrid acoustic architecture, and adapted their respective amplification parameters for the two different speakers, which not only allows the two speakers with different characteristics to cooperate with each other, making the sound transition more smooth and natural, but also allows users to have a richer sound experience through the preset or interaction with HiBy’s music app in the future.
Built-in HiFi dual-DAC for HD decoding
Due to the different working principles of the MEMS tweeter and graphene dynamic driver, we have specially selected and adapted exclusive HiFi-grade DAC chips – ES9018C2M & CS43131 – for each driver to decode and independently amplify the signals, maximize the acoustic characteristics of two groups of drivers, and make the different sounds more expressive.
Digital signal processing with extremely low latency and ultra-high fidelity
With customized high-performance digital cables and digital interfaces, Xeno can independently process the native digital signals of smartphones/tablets, allowing users to listen to ultra-clear, high-resolution music without worrying about latency issues, even in audio-visual entertainment or gaming, and to get an immersive listening experience anytime, anywhere.
Native support for DSD128/PCM384 hardware decoding
As the first digital earphone to support DSD hardware decoding, Xeno inherits HiBy Music’s comprehensive audio processing solution, allowing the ES9018C2M & CS43131 two HiFi grade DACs to work in synergy to directly decode HD audio up to PCM384kHz/32Bits and DSD128, satisfying demanding music lovers.
Support USB Audio Exclusive Mode of HiBy Music
As a professional HD audio player for iOS and Android systems, HiBy Music App is widely loved by millions of music fans around the world. Xeno seamlessly adapts to HiBy Music App in smartphones and supports USB Audio exclusive mode, which allows playback of all kinds of lossless formats originally.
Audiophile-grade silver-plated cable
The audiophile-grade silver-plated OFC cable is specially shielded with a hybrid braid, which not only effectively helps Xeno to resist most external interference, but also combines the advantages of copper and silver to make its sound both powerful and soft.
Convenient four-button controller design
No matter listening or talking, you can control it at any time, which is compatible with most smartphones and HiBy music players, and through the FN multi-function button, you can (with the support of HiBy music) switch different sound styles, so that you can have more fun of listening.
Equipped with all-directional sensitive mems mic
It can support daily incoming calls and HD recordings, free from signal and external interference.
Comfortable and stable over-ear design
Xeno’s over-ear design refers to the ergonomic wearing comfort, greatly reducing the stethoscope effect caused by the collar friction, not only to ensure optimal sound transmission, but also to ensure that Xeno can adapt to our long time wearing and listening.
Compact USB-C design
HIBYDIGITAL Xeno headphones are easy to carry, while the connection torque is greatly shortened to reduce the risk of damage to the smartphone dock, even for daily use.
